Synopsis of Managing Fulfillment for Subscription Boxes
Fulfillment – the process of building, packing and shipping your subscription box – is a big part of your subscription business. In this webinar, we explore ways to keep in-house fulfillment efficient, as well as how (and why) to transition to outsourced fulfillment or 3PL (third party logistics partner). Includes special guest Chris Nikoloff of Kable Packaging.

A question for you.
I am only in validation stage at this point but key issues.
I am located in Amsterdam but my core market is in the USA. However shipping overseas is not going to work as the cost of shipping will be many times more than the cost of the product.
Are there fulfilment companies that work in both Europe and the USA?
Market is mostly in Europe and North America. Products are produced all over the world. Seems to me shipping is the biggest cost by far. The more efficient the better. Using several different companies will only add complexity. Limiting where customers are is an option.
Thanks,
Jim
Hey Jim,
If you think US is going to be your big market (I believe it will be), I would just work with a fulfillment partner in the US, like NW Paper Box or Kable. You can have all your product sent to them, then they will pack and fulfill the orders each month. You can run your business from Amsterdam, or a beach somewhere 😉
I would recommend getting to at least 300-500 subscribers before you outsource fulfillment, though. The costs can be pretty steep starting out.
Hope that helps!
